Ink for George

Our third ink in the series of Yoke Pen Co.'s Small Batch Historic Inks. These will be released on a limited basis and produced in a single small batch. Once sold out, they are gone! Each recipe follows the exact antique recipe.

The Third Batch (#03-06192017) features a recipe which was handwritten on a note by the late Louis Madarasz. This is a combination of two antique ink recipes and combined in proportion to his specifications  This is an iron gall based ink, and pretty thin in viscosity. It goes on dark gray and then quickly turns black and darkens more over time. This ink produces some dark black shades and super fine hairlines.
